A weekend Recap: Engagements, Newborns, and a Wedding || Lynchburg, Virginia Photographer

Happy Leap Day! It's a BEAUTIFUL day here in Lynchburg, VA- the sun is shining, it's in the mid-60's and I had a gorgeous, busy weekend full of beautiful people!! I traveled all over Virginia this past weekend- from Richmond to Goode and Bedford, to Tyro and back to Lynchburg! It was exhausting, but oh my goodness- so much fun! I love love LOVE being there to document all these important moments in peoples lives! It's so special to me!! 

My weekend started out with a drive to the Richmond area for some newborn snuggles! Cutie little Brady was born this past week and I was SO EXCITED to get out there for some newborn shots! 

On Saturday, I got to celebrate with Andrew & Allie at their BEAUTIFUL wedding in Goode, and their reception at the Avenel in Bedford, Virginia! Everything about this wedding was gorgeous and their friends and family truly rallied around them and made their day SO special! Allison made such a stunning bride, and you can truly see their love watching them! 

On Sunday I headed out to Pharsalia for Brian & Lindsey's engagement session. They are getting married in a few short months out here and I am SO excited! Phrasally is seriously GORGEOUS and was the perfect backdrop for their photos!

Mike & Emilee's Wedding & Celebration at Boonsboro Country Club || Lynchburg, VA Wedding Photographer

I am SO happy I am able to share these images with you today! I know that Mike & Emilee, their entire families, and all of their guests and friends wondered if their wedding was going to happen because of the ‘blizzard of 2016.’  Mike said it well when he said that he doesn’t know of many people who would be able to watch ALL of their month and months of wedding plans get tossed out the window because of snow.  Emilee handled this situation with such grace, and if you read their blog post from Monday, you saw that they actually had a small, intimate ceremony in their pastors yard on Saturday, and then Boonsboro Country Club in Lynchburg, VA was able to open up and they had their ceremony on Sunday morning before their families had to fly back out.  

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a couple so happy together- especially after all that they had been through the previous week! But Mike & Emilee were all smiles- all day- and after their ceremony they laughed and kissed throughout their entire reception! Then they tied up their snow boots and we walked around the gorgeous grounds of Boonsboro County Club and got the most romantic portraits of them. If it’s going to snow on your wedding day, you better take advantage of that and get some photos! ;)

Richmond, Virginia Maternity Photographer: Don & Michelle

There is such a special excitement and joy when working with first-time parents, and this was especially true with Don & Michelle! It was so much fun getting to meet them and take some maternity photos for them! Michelle is seriously just glowing and has such a cute little bump!! 

We met up at the gorgeous Forest Hill Park, in Richmond, Virginia! There were so many beautiful backdrops for photos- we could have walked around all day... except Michelle probably would have killed me since she's pregnant and all! ;)
