Brian & Crystal: Lynchburg, VA Engagement Session

I think it’s safe to safe, it’s officially Fall, and while I always love summer, the cooler weather and engagement session season is welcome this year! Brain & Crystal are getting married at Atkinson Farm in Danville, Virginia this upcoming April, and I am so excited for it! These two are so sweet, and I cannot wait to celebrate with them! These two have known each other for pretty much their entire lives, and have been dating since their senior year in high school! So, you can say this wedding is a long time coming, which always means extra celebration!

We had a blast at their engagement session on the most perfect Fall evening- the weather was gorgeous, Sweet Briar College is always a favorite!

Blue Ridge Parkway Engagement Session || Scott & Amy's Thunder Ridge Engagement

One of my most favorite things about living in Lynchburg, VA is just how close we are to so many amazing places- and the Blue Ridge Parkway is on the top of that list! Thunder Ridge is an overlook spot that is beyond gorgeous- I mean, those stunning views- and major perk- you don’t have to hike to get there! ;)

When I talked with Scott & Amy and they mentioned wanting mountain views and I knew Thunder Ridge would be perfect for their engagement session! These two are so sweet and I truly loved getting to know them both more before their wedding next year at Wintergreen Resort!

Downtown Lynchburg, Virginia Engagement Session || Levi & Chelsea

This time of year is full of engagement sessions and I love it! There's no pressure, and we can just chat, learn more about each other, and I love hearing all about their wedding planning process and what they've gotten done! I know it can be so overwhelming with to-do lists, so much research, and trying to make all those decisions! Being able to step away from all the craziness and almost reconnect as a couple at an engagement session is so rejuvenating!  I had so much fun with Levi & Chelsea- and their adorable pup Skully at their engagement session this week! We met at the Old Towne Cemetery in Lynchburg, Virginia and then headed to downtown Lynchburg- where they had their first date. 

Bedford Engagement Session || Ryan & Andrea

I looooove when a couple decides to do their engagement photos at a location that is super special to them! Ryan & Andrea chose to do their session at a family's property in Bedford, Virginia! And ohhh my goodness- this location was so dreamy!! A gorgeous farmhouse, some rustic barns, views of the peaks and a gorgeous pond setting for sunset! IT really was the perfect location for their engagement session!!

Central, Virginia Engagement Session || Mike & Haley

Oh this engagement session was so much fun! Mike & Haley met me in downtown Lynchburg for their session, where we hung out in downtown Lynchburg, Virginia and then headed to the Old City Cemetery for their engagement session.  We had the most perfect weather- I love how warm our Spring has been so far!! It's made this engagement photo season a whole lot more fun- for me at least! I hate bundling up and having freezing cold fingers!

This adorable couple is getting married at The Trivium Estate in just a few weeks, and I'm so excited for them! Their wedding sounds so beautiful with tons of natural elements and lots of friends & family around!
