Halloween 2019 || Eiban Family Celebration

Well, Halloween 2019 looked a lot different than years past, thanks to a huge storm that hit Central Virginia! We dressed up, got some photos, and knocked on a handful of neighbors doors before the rain started, we headed home and instead watched Harry Potter. So, while it looked a little different than our traditions years past, it was still fun, and plenty of memories made!

We let Emmie pick the Halloween costumes for her & Sully this year- she has been loving watching the Avengers Movies with Michael the past few weeks, and picked Black Widow for herself, and Captain America for Sully. I’ll admit, I had never even heard of Black Widow before, but we found a costume and the kids looked adorable. Sully hated wearing his mask, but after some persuasion, we got a few photos with him wearing it. And by persuasion, I mean, pinning him down and very quickly snapping photos ;)

Lynchburg Family and Maternity Photographer || The Griffin Family

Photographing friends & their families are so special to me! I've been taking photos of the Griffin Family for a few years now- ever since she was pregnant with Hamilton, and it's always such an honor to document milestones each year and seeing how much their little one is changing! Jenn is pregnant with baby #2 now and due in March (yay March babies!) and is seriously just stunning! 

We met out at the Ivy Creek Park in Lynchburg, Virginia this week! It was the perfect location, with the sun setting, the gorgeous trees & lake! I need to remember this one more! They dressed all up for me and looked AMAZING & Jenn had a flower crown made by Foraged & Cut for some individual photos and I am obsessed! 

Thanks Griffin Family for always trusting me to document your family! I know it's cliche' but it really is such an honor when there are so many people you can choose from! Love you guys!!

Lynchburg Family Photographer || The Klinger family

It's the ultimate compliment when friends ask me to document their families for them. I know how precious and fleeting these days are, and to be the one chosen to capture these moments is such an honor! I was so excited to capture the Klinger family's portraits this year! Rachel was on my hall my freshman year in college, so to have them back in Lynchburg and see our kids playing together is so surreal! 

For their family photos, we headed out to Riverside Park in Lynchburg, Virginia. I love this park year round, but during the fall, the colors are just so amazing! There are spots to do photos around every corner!

Fall Family Photos || Lynchburg family and portrait photographe

Catching up on some amazing sessions from this Fall! It's such a blessing to be busy and have so many sessions, but that means that I end up getting behind on everything else, including blogging! 

I love the change of pace that fall brings, where I photograph more families than usual! Changing things up is always a good thing in my book, especially when it means I get to snuggle up with some sweet babies and meet new people! Just a warning, I will snuggle your baby and do the goofiest things to get them to look at me and smile! ;) The Long family was no exception! I loved spending the afternoon with them and snuggling their little guy!

Albuquerque, New Mexico Family and Lifestyle Photographer || Breighton's Newborn Session

Writing this, sharing these images is a complete honor and I still can't believe everything worked out for me to make it to Albuquerque to visit my Aunt & cousin Shelby just a few short days after sweet Breighton was born! I haven't been able to visit them since I was in middle school! I got tons and tons of squishy snuggles in and even got to take some precious photos of Breighton, Shelby and Corey! 

Shelby is such an inspiring Mom. She's going to school, working, and taking care of her little guy all at the same time! I loved seeing how comfortable she is as a Mom, and just how much she loves her sweet little guy! I was super tempted to bring him home with me, but instead I just insisted that they make it out to Lynchburg to visit soon!
